I've finally left the house: Indie Nite @ Laundry

Okay... yesterday( monday) was an extremely long day for me, started out by arriving at 8.30 for work and cleaning the store... i dont even clean my house as throughly as the effort i put into cleanning the store in the mornings. Anyways, met a lovely Singaporean gal and her bf... sold them a pair of tsubi jeans... glad that i'm helping to influence more Singaporeans to buy those jeans. Its all part of tsubi's masterplan to takeover the universe. Apart from that, an uneventful day at work; although there was drama in the morning when i locked myself out of my room, had the effing security guard tell me that it was too bad... didnt want to tell her that her choice of career was poor and that was too bad for her.

After work at 6, i actually went to my legal lecture after a 6 week absence, only to realise that the lecturer is still a boring old man and you effectively learn nothing in class. But i had a pretty damn good dinner with my lecture-mate afterwards, so that made the effort okay

Ended up at Brunswick at midnight to the club called for their Indie night. Honestly, never really been for something like that, usually go to clubs that spin retro; house; r&b so it was a pretty good change... I honestly dont think Singapore has a place like that. Drank like a fish as usual... which was good, my liver has been complacent and needed a good workout. I've been a bit of a homebody (hence the title) this past few weeks, cancelling out on so many people when i should be out there partying HARD.... isnt that why i moved to melb. The crowd was majorly EMO and the DJ spun tunes from Artic Monkeys/Kaiser Chiefs/Strokes/Postal Service. Wasnt the best set in the world but energy levels were high so that made it aight. Most amusing part of the night was when this guy was doing a chick in the bathroom and there was a line. When the bouncer kicked the door in and both of them came out, he had to do the walk of shame pass all us queuing quys cause that chick was prolly drugged out and really really fugly. But all in all, a good night. Thanks to Clara and her crew for asking me along =)

No photos though as i walked there and had to pass a pretty dodgy area, didnt wanna get mugged. I can deal with the mugging, just not losing the camera which my dad got for me and made my sis jealous, hence the attachment to it
