Random Update #7: DONE !!!!!!!!!!!
well almost... its like 95% completed, it just needs a quick edit and a look through... i'm frankly over this assignment, the more i try and understand it, the more confused i get. Spoke to my friend last night and he told me that the lecturer said that we didn't need to use the case study for the first 2 questions... but yet there was direct mention in the actual question to the case ?!?!?! wtf ?!?!?! okays anyways i'm done... i've tried to do it in a manner that a postgraduate student would do... all analytical and shit... haha... i'm over this assignment, if i get a pass, i'd be stoked.
anyways, the assignment is essentially about:
(i) nature of consideration
(ii) estoppel and unconscionable conduct
(iii) equitable impact on the principals of contract
for all you lawyers who think is easy, remember that i've none done law before... and he has essentially given us whole cases to read, some of the language written in the late 1800s or by old people who were prolly born around that time... its just been confusing the hell outta me because these cases refuse to come out and say what they actually mean.. they beat around the bush (like the lecturer) and that drives me INSANE !!!!!!!! i'm not trained to do this shit, he never thought us how to read cases... i'm sure lawyers even when they're starting out, get broken into this shit, not just told to sink or swim
anyways... i'm gonna have a quick break and then time to study Finance
*sob sob*
